Drive a Real Formula
Race Car at Mission Raceway

No race license. No trailer. No experience required.
Just show up and drive.

Experience the raw, mechanical feeling of a real open-wheel race car on a real racetrack. Lower than a supercar. More connected than almost anything you've ever driven.

This is not a simulator.
This is not a driving game.
This is real motorsport.

The Difference

Why Formula Cars
Feel Different

Most performance cars are designed to feel comfortable. Formula cars are designed to feel alive.

You sit inches off the ground with exposed wheels, direct steering, and almost no isolation between you and the track. Every vibration, every steering input, and every corner becomes immediate and physical.

Unlike modern road cars, there are no driving modes, ABS, or stability control.

It's one of the purest forms of driving ever created.

Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need previous experience or a racing license?

No. Our sessions are designed specifically for first-time formula car drivers. No racing license is required for introductory experience sessions.

What should I bring?

Just your driver's license for identity and eligibility check, and closed-toe shoes. We handle the rest.

What car will I drive?

You'll drive a real Formula Vee race car — the same style of lightweight, open-wheel race car used in amateur and club racing around the world. Equipped with a 4-speed manual transmission, rear-wheel drive, and racing slick tires, these purpose-built race cars deliver responsive handling, direct driver feedback, and an authentic formula racing experience.

Will there be instructors?

Yes. Every session includes driver briefing, guidance, and support from experienced instructors and crew.

Is this wheel-to-wheel racing?

No. These are controlled lapping and training sessions focused on driver development and experience. However, there may be different levels of drivers and passing is allowed.

What happens if it rains?

Events may continue in light rain depending on track conditions and safety considerations, with rain tires on cars. However, severe weather may result in rescheduling.

What happens if the car is damaged?

Drivers are responsible for damage caused by driver error or off-track incidents. Full details are available in the terms and conditions.

Can I book multiple sessions?

Yes. Additional sessions and advanced coaching options will be available depending on event capacity.

Where does this take place?

Events are planned for Mission Raceway Park in British Columbia.
